A professional, self-motivated individual must fill this vital position. The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will schedule all inbound/outbound shipments, provide leadership to our warehouse team, and strive to keep transportation costs low.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for prioritizing tasks to meet expected shipping dates and maintaining an accurate inventory.
On the Warehouse side, your job is responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the storage procedure, from the complicated storage logistics to keeping an eye on the warehouse workers – scheduling shifts and ensuring staff are adequately trained. Juggling a variety of tasks.
The Warehouse and Logistics Manager serves as a key business partner, a job of variety, Managers will spend their time both in the office and out on the shop floor overseeing staff, so you’ll never be stuck at your desk. You’ll also be in touch with other Managers in the production chain to ensure the management of goods is well coordinated.

Accountabilities and Description:
Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.

Directing, optimizing, and coordinating full order cycle.
Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing, or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications, and costs.
Negotiate rates with carriers.
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
Manage an accurate inventory of warehouse materials.
Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments.
Recruit and train warehouse personnel.
Ensure materials and end products are delivered to relevant sites promptly as per clients’ criteria.
Maintain customer service logs and safety records.
Strategic inputs, development, and implementation.
Financial management by improving cost to a company of all inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes, and process shipments.
Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce.
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Ability to manage costs.
